LIFE Build and OX Place continue affordable housing success

Construction is now underway at Westlands Drive, where LIFE Build will deliver 15 high-quality, sustainable affordable homes for the Northway community on behalf of OX Place. The development will provide a mix of affordable homes, including four Shared Ownership properties, helping more local people take their first step onto the property ladder.

To celebrate the start of the project, pupils from New Marston Primary School, supported by AT The Bus, created a series of vibrant artworks from recycled materials. Their designs now surround the site, bringing creativity, colour and a strong sense of community to the project from day one.

Westlands Drive marks another important milestone in our growing partnership with OX Place, following the successful delivery of Princes Street and Collins Street. Together, we continue to share a commitment to delivering high-quality homes while creating lasting social value and investing in the communities in which we work.

Ken Adams, Chairman of LIFE Build Solutions, said:

“We are delighted to be continuing our successful partnership with OX Place following the completion of the Princes Street and Collins Street developments. Those projects demonstrated what can be achieved through genuine collaboration, and we look forward to building on that success at Westlands Drive.

We are proud to be supporting OX Place and Oxford City Council in delivering homes that will make a lasting difference for local people. Throughout the project we will continue to maximise local employment, engage with schools and community organisations, and deliver meaningful social value alongside the construction of these much-needed new homes.”

We look forward to working alongside OX Place, Oxford City Council, AT The Bus, New Marston Primary School and our local supply chain to deliver another successful project for Oxford.
