New appointment

We are delighted to announce that John Papworth has joined LIFE Build as our new Managing Director.

John joins us with over 25 years of experience in the construction industry, bringing a wealth of knowledge from engineering through to board-level leadership. His journey includes nearly a decade with one well-respected contractor, followed by over 11 years with another highly regarded business, where he held Regional Director and Group Board Director roles. Across this time, he has built lasting relationships with fellow professionals, developed high-performing teams, and driven meaningful growth.

In addition to his professional achievements, John has a long-standing commitment to the community and a passion for developing young people and adults through his voluntary work with The Scouts. During this time, he has held a number of leadership, management and charity trustee roles.
John’s proven track record in delivering complex projects, leading high-performing teams and driving strategic growth aligns strongly with LIFE Build’s vision for the future.

His leadership will be instrumental as we continue to strengthen our presence across our core region and sectors, while also expanding into new areas of opportunity.
