Phillimore Cafe, Aldenham

LIFE Build were appointed to construct new community Café facilities in Aldenham. The project provides new café, meeting and leisure facilities and successfully improved facilities within the park which increased visitor numbers to the playpark and recreational ground and encourages exploration of green spaces.

The project utilised Modern Methods of construction including the use of a timber frame\glulam beam construction, roof mounted photovoltaic panels to provide a source of renewable energy, charred wooden cladding and solar coated glazing and solar shading.
