St Stephens Church, Twickenham

The project comprised the construction of a single storey extension and the internal refurbishment of the existing church. Access to the site was extremely restricted requiring extensive liaison with the local authority.

 The extension was formed with a steel frame constructed on piled foundations and ground beams. The envelope was formed by brickwork with stone features and the roof is a single ply membrane with approximately 50% of the area covered with roof lights. The project included traditional finishes and remodelling of the gardens.
