Queen Elizabeth II, Gatehouse, Pinewood Studios, Iver

The design concept for the gatehouse was to create an iconic image for Pinewood Studios.

The roof canopy, that expands the entry/exit roads, has a plan shape that reflects the corporate logo for Pinewood Studios.

The Gatehouse accommodation consisted of a glass enclosed building on the North side that accommodates the security facilities on the ground floor. Also included are conference and lavatory facilities as well as a spiral stair and lift access to the first-floor level above the security offices.

The spiral stair continued to a roof level, which provides access for visitors to view the studio complex and for planned maintenance issues.
