Canalside Copper Phase, Sheerwater, Woking

Canalside is a significant phased regeneration project in Surrey and forms a new vision for the future. Upon completion the scheme will deliver around 600 additional homes. These homes will be built in a way which causes the least impact on the surrounding area. Also included in the regeneration is the creation of four hectares of new parkland, play and leisure space, new community facilities and retail spaces.

Before the Copper Phase works can begin, we will be responsible for all the site preparation. This includes securing unoccupied buildings and protecting the trees and hedgerows that don’t need to be removed. Once the site preparation has been completed the project will see the demolition of structures and the removal of above and underground features including a running track. The next phase of construction is of 86 units which will be a mixture of two-, three-, four- and five-bedroom houses and two flats over garages. The project will also include the provision of estate roads, drainage, hard and soft landscaping which consist of communal areas and a play area for the younger residents.
